2020 Elections
The United States will hold a pivotal set of elections in 2020. We consider the dynamics of the race and impacts for the future of US policy.
The United States will hold a consequential set of elections in 2020 at the national level for the executive and congressional seats, and at the state level for governor and state legislatures. The future of leadership at each of these levels will have impacts across domestic and foreign policy including for transatlantic relations, trade, national security, economic and fiscal policy, technology, climate change and migration. We examine potential areas of policy continuity and policy change.
